Join the NANPS Board

Make a Difference! Join the NANPS Board!

Are you passionate about protecting and promoting native plants? The North American Native Plant Society (NANPS) is looking for new Board Members to join our vibrant, volunteer-led team. As a volunteer-run organization, NANPS depends on the commitment of its board members to help shape our direction and manage key areas of our work. These include operations, organizing plant sales, running events, overseeing communications, land stewardship, restoration projects, and more.

Prior Board and/or non-profit experience, as well as experience in the environmental sector are considered to be assets, but are not essential. The Board meets nine times per year on a weekday evening, and board members are also expected to actively participate in committee work. Please contact info@nanps.org if you’d like more information or are interested in joining the board. Not interested, but know someone who would be a great match? Share this opportunity with them.

Treasurer

NANPS is also seeking to fill the role of Board Treasurer. The treasurer is responsible for managing the financial activities of the organization and is an active member of the board and executive committee. Position details, requirements, and how to apply can be found here. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
