Irene lives in the tiny hamlet of Massie near Owen Sound, Ontario where she edits and writes funding proposals for environmental organizations. She has a garden that blends pollinator-friendly native plantings with beloved cultivars. She frequently travels to northern Ontario to help with her partner’s kayaking adventure company and lodge on Lake Superior.
