How to Support & Grow Native Species with Ryan Godfrey

Ryan is part of the Science, Knowledge and Innovation team at WWF-Canada and supports projects across the organization as WWF-Canada’s resident botanist. Ryan draws from his experience in academia, environmental consulting, wildlife gardening and as a certified seed collector to work on community engagement, citizen stewardship and urban ecological restoration. He also develops educational resources, gives talks and holds workshops for gardeners of all levels. A lot of Ryan’s work is centred in Southern Ontario’s Carolinian Zone and in human dominated landscapes. In all of his work Ryan aims to strengthen the reciprocal connections between humans, plants and wildlife.
