with Janice Keil
Speaker: Janice Keil has been a professional educator and a passionate gardener for over 30 years. Working in the agricultural sector and on her family farm as a teenager, detasselling corn and growing cucumbers commercially, turned her into an organic agriculture activist and she has never looked back.
Janice’s native plant expertise as a director of the North American Native Plant Society has encouraged her to ask questions: Why just marigolds and nasturtiums as companions for vegetable gardens? Why not native plants? This webinar will encourage and motivate all native plant lovers and veggie gardener-enthusiasts to explore the need for biodiversity, cross pollination and successful companion gardening.
